On August 17, the Highlands Consulting team walked to support the Make-A-Wish | Walk for Wishes. It was a special day, indeed. We were inspired by a happy, courageous young boy who battled a critical illness. We witnessed firsthand the amazing work of Make-A-Wish, and how a child, family, and community are deeply impacted by a wish fulfilled. My colleague, Judy Melson, has captured the essence of the event in this incredible video.
Many thanks to our team, business partners, families, and friends for their generous donations and enthusiastic support. We proudly raised $10,679! This is a great example of how we live our values. Giving back and volunteering locally are very important to us, and we do it regularly. Now that the Walk for Wishes is completed, we are thrilled about the next step – participating in the Adopt-A-Wish program – to make a child’s wish come true!
