Continuous learning is a core value at Highlands Consulting. It is a pillar of our organizational culture and something we rely on when tackling complex client projects each year. Throughout my 16-year career here, I feel very fortunate to have learned from incredible managers, mentors, colleagues, and clients who fostered a strong learning environment and modeled important behaviors. Thankfully, these learning opportunities have not been limited to improving business or technical skills. Instead, they are much broader and include effective communication, leadership, collaboration, and change management techniques to create impactful relationships with our clients and successfully achieve project objectives.
As Brian Herbert said, “the capacity to learn is a gift; the ability to learn is a skill; the willingness to learn is a choice.” Since 2002, this willingness to learn has helped Highlands Consulting build a lasting organizational culture, while also instilling confidence that we can address our clients’ challenges and exceed their expectations!
