Each January, the Highlands team meets to revisit our strategic plan and brainstorm new action items for the year. We are empowered to suggest ideas that we want to implement, such as best practice research, group trainings, and community events. One such action item was to ask the Sacramento Business Journal to administer a detailed survey of our employees. As a result of our high scores, Highlands was recognized as a “Best Place to Work.” As the firm’s HR Manager, I was not surprised. I have witnessed first-hand our team’s commitment to a collaborative work culture – one that encourages learning, helping each other, and providing quality client service. We are delighted to have received this honor from SBJ.
