In March, the Highlands Consulting team enjoyed a group retreat to celebrate recent successes and join in some team bonding fun.
Catching a break from the rain – for the most part – we spent the afternoon at Safari West, a 400-acre wildlife preserve in Santa Rosa. Adults and kids alike had a wild time on open-air tours across expansive grounds, getting up close and personal with buffalo, rhinos, zebras, and many more. We capped off the day of adventure with wine tasting and a chef’s dinner at the Sonoma Mission Inn.
The retreat was a great opportunity to take a breather from non-stop client work, get out of the office, away from our screens, and reconnect as a team on a personal level. It reminded me of the reason I joined Highlands Consulting in the first place – the people – and why I’m grateful to be a part of this team every day.
